Party people brought their A-game to Two Ten’s Young Professionals event.

Hundreds of industry members came out to honor Dave Grange, president of Lacoste Footwear, NA, last Wednesday at Two Ten Footwear Foundation’s YP210 event at Suite 36 in New York. Guests spent the evening dancing, sharing drinks with friends and playing endless games of beer pong, mini golf and jenga. All proceeds from the party will go to help footwear families in need.

Two Ten continued its month-long bonanza of community service projects last week as part of #FootwearCares. April 7 found the FDRA working with SOME (So Others Might Eat) to serve lunch to 400 homeless people in Washington, DC.

Two Ten celebrates 75 years of giving back to the shoe community.

Two Ten Footwear Foundation will today celebrate its 75th anniversary on the steps of the Massachusetts State House with the presentation of a citation issued by Governor Deval Patrick. This recognizes the foundation’s outstanding service to the country’s footwear community of 250,000 members, many of whom are from Massachusetts.

Dansko CEO awarded for outstanding humanitarian achievement.

Mandy Cabot, co-founder, president and CEO of Dansko, is the 2013 recipient of the T. Kenyon Holly Memorial Award for outstanding human achievement. Presented by Two Two, the award is bestowed upon an individual in the footwear industry who exemplifies the philanthropic spirit and character of the late T. Kenyon Holly, past president of the foundation. “Mandy is the epitome of what Two Ten is about…an unconditional commitment to caring,” says Jim Salzano, Two Ten board chair.

Macy’s Tim Adams to Chair Annual Two Ten Dinner

Tim Adams, chief private brand officer of Macy’s, will chair the Two Ten Footwear Foundation’s 2009 Annual Dinner. In addition to being Two Ten’s most critical fundraiser, this year’s event, slated for Dec. 2 at the Marriott Marquis in New York’s Times Square, celebrates the industry charity’s 70th anniversary.
