Two Ten Footwear Foundation provides financial, social and educational aid to those working in the footwear industry, as well as their families. In 2014, Two Ten distributed $1.5 million to footwear families in crisis, awarded $800,000 in scholarships, united footwear companies and volunteers to help serve local charities through the Footwear Cares program sponsored by Amazon Fashion, launched the National Shoe Travelers (NST) Scholarship fund and provided support, networking and development opportunities to thousands within the footwear industry. For these outstanding impacts in the footwear community, Charity Navigator has bestowed their 4-star rating on the foundation.
“Our 4-star rating is a testament to the commitment of the Foundation’s staff and Board,” states Neal Newman, president of Two Ten Footwear Foundation. Ken Berger, president and CEO of Charity Navigator–the nation’s largest charity evaluator–adds, “Two Ten’s supporters should feel very confident that their hard-earned dollars are being used efficiently and responsibly.”
