Following the rave success of its Tasman slipper, Ugg has a new slip-on in town, and it already boasts a celeb following. The all-gender Venture Daze remixes the popular slipper with a grippy outsole. Large “tire treads” are equipped to traverse a variety of terrain, available in a white, black, or Caterpillar green hue. Gigi Hadid and Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan have been seen rocking the utilitarian styles.
The brand is releasing the shoe in three new colorways for AW24. Burnt Olive/Charcoal, Black/Black, and Red Jasper/ Black will hit shelves this June/July. Ugg tells Footwear Plus the style has been selling strong, and the brand is pleased with the results (though it can’t directly attribute performance to celebrity friends wearing the product). The spring version is also available as an open-toed slide.
The brand’s campaign for the Venture Daze sports a Mad Max vibe that has been embraced by influencers for its functionality and festival-ready cool factor. Fashion insiders and early adopters are already fans, so we predict the Venture Daze will be a hit for back to school and holiday.

The style also has a sustainable spin, complete with recycled polyester Uggbraid webbing, a recycled textile lining, and sugarcane EVA footbed and outsole. The shoe retails for $130, a touch above the $110 Tasman.
