Lifestyle brand Bearpaw has teamed up with musician and surfer Siren Williams to kick off Side Project, the third part of its charitable initiative, Creative Expressions. Sea life and all things connected to living the beach lifestyle are common themes throughout William’s designs. “I’m painting the beats of my own songs,” the musician says. Starting June 14 she will auction the shoes on her website and proceeds will benefit organizations to be announced in the lead up to it.
Lifestyle brand Bearpaw and its e-commerce partner, Sportif USA, teamed up with Hosanna Home in Reno, NV, to help women in need. The companies will donate 100 pairs of shoes to the organization which encourages homeless women to make positive changes in their lives with programs that promote mental and physical health, while teaching successful life skills.
Last Friday night Bearpaw threw open the doors of its Citrus Heights, CA, shop for its second annual Wine, Women & Boots event, offering 50 percent off the entire store, as well as wine, appetizers and a sneak peek at the Fall ’13 collection. “It’s been a great opportunity for us to bond with consumers and really build a relationship with them that will last for years to come. These types of things go a long way in establishing ourselves in the Sacramento area and gaining market share,” says Randy McKinley, vice president, sales and marketing at Bearpaw Footwear.
