Soles4Souls has announced a new partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods to collect gently-used athletic shoes through a national shoe donation campaign. From Oct. 10-18, customers can donate outgrown or unwanted athletic shoes in a designated Soles4Souls drop box at more than 570 Dick’s Sporting Goods locations nationwide.
“Flats were not an option,” states Nanna Liv, designer and founder of London-based shoe line Sargossa, referring to her past life in sales when she pounded the trade show floor for brands like Pandora. “I wanted to wear heels as part of my professional appearance.” Slowly, all that time spent in stilettos started to take its toll.
