Soles4Souls has been awarded the Memorial Foundation Leadership Award from the Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM), and was presented with $10,000 at the CNM’s Salute to Excellence Awards Banquet on Sept. 23, 2014. Buddy Teaser, president and CEO of Soles4Souls, says he is “honored.” “Their recognition of the hard work the board and management team have done to get Soles4Souls back on track to help Wear Out Poverty, and be a more involved part of the Nashville community, is incredibly satisfying,” he says. “But what it really means is that we’re better positioned than we have been in years to collect more shoes and clothes so we can help more people in the U.S. and around the world.”
