Earlier this month, Crocs declared it “Croctober,” announcing it had officially reached the “pinnacle of fandom.” It’s true, the brand and its fans have always embraced the shoes’ innate goofiness. These latest releases play on that whimsical spirit.
Yesterday, the brand dropped its anticipated Pet Crocs designed in partnership with BARK. With matching styles for human and fur baby, Pet Crocs are crafted from the same breathable EVA foam two-legged consumers love. The much-requested collab debuted on the fan-created “Croc Day,” October 23.
Matching Classic Lines Clogs are offered in two marbled colorways — Green Slim and Pink Dragonfruit — that glow in the dark to “symbolize a love that illuminates the world.” Naturally, styles can be personalized with exclusive dog Jibbitz charms. The line quickly sold out yesterday on the Crocs website, but styles can still be found at select retailers.
But the brand didn’t stop at pet footwear. It also released a new Crocs Costume, so fans of all ages can dress up as a life-sized Classic Clog this Halloween. Of course, the costume is loaded with Jibbitz charms, and the brand’s iconic ventilation holes make convenient arm and face openings. Available in left and right, this couple’s costume might just beat out Taylor and Travis.
