American heritage footwear brand Florsheim is teaming up with Los Angeles–based sustainable shoemakeer PSUDO on an exclusive capsule collection. The collaboration contains three groupings: Basic, Summer, and Bold, with seven unique colors and prints in total. Available August 5 on the brand’s website and in select retailers, this “summer” style features a sage green hue with palm leaf textured overlay onto a sage dune print.
Retailing for $140, each pair saves 7.2 single-use plastic bottles from landfills and oceans. Recycled soles are made and sourced in the U.S. The comfort-driven styles feature EVA outsoles and multi-part insoles. “Laces” are printed on for easy on and off. “Partnering with PSUDO has been a fantastic journey,” says John Florsheim, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Weyco Group Incorporated. “To be able to learn the latest in sustainable footwear technology and work with a team who is passionate about their craft has been a pleasure.
