Danner Bull Run Boot

Hot off of the Fourth of July, we’re calling out a made-in-America style from one of the USA’s leading heritage brand. Charles Danner founded his eponymous bootmaking business in 1932, based on the principle that superior craftsmanship mattered. The brand has multiple categories of American-made styles, from Berry Compliant boots that source every grommet and stitch stateside to made-in-the-USA options that source materials abroad.

The Bull Run boot is a longtime favorite, using imported materials but totally handcrafted in the brand’s Portland, OR, factory. The full-grain leather upper strikes a balance between soft and strong, and the Danner signature wedge outsole offers all-day comfort. The uppers are unlined for added breathability and to fully mold to the wearer’s foot.

A popular option for work boots, the Bull Run also have Electrical Hazard protection, manufactured with non-conductive electrical shock resistant heels and soles. The style is built to last and eligible for the brand’s recrafting services, including part replacement, leather care, and restitching.
