New Pacsun Campaign Appeals to Gen Z

A cheeky, nostalgic take on "home for the holidays."

This week, Pacsun unveiled it’s 2024 holiday campaign, proving why it is a leading retailer among Gen Z consumers. The campaign captures the experience of a college student returning home for the holidays, with a equal parts snark and nostalgia. Campaign images feature trendy outfits styled in with perfectly unkempt appeal and messaging in TikTok-friendly fonts.

“At Pacsun, we’re all about creating moments that resonate with our community, and this holiday season, we’ve curated collections that capture the excitement of returning home, celebrations, and reconnecting with loved ones,” offers Abbie Hutzler, Divisional Merchandise Manager. “From exclusive styles and thoughtful gifting options to standout fashion trends, we’re proud to offer something for everyone, making the holiday season as memorable as possible.”

The brand’s baggy denim remains a top seller, including its viral Pacsun low rise Astrid jean. Mini skirts are another leading item styled with on-trend tall boots. The retailer also declares the return of the “going out top,” spanning lacy camisoles with bow accents, off-shoulder styles, and eye-catching leopard prints. For dudes, relaxed and loose-fit jeans are dominating sales along with the retailer’s coveted collection of graphic tees.

To meet the moment, the retailer stocks top footwear picks from brands like Birkenstock, New Balance, Asics, Reebok, and Converse. It will drop promotions throughout November, leading up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
