For “House of the Dragon” fans mourning the end of the second season, Merrell is releasing a collaboration with the beloved Max series beginning August 17.
The collection will include three of Merrell’s most popular styles. There’s one for each house, of course: Hightower, Targaryen, and Velaryon. The first drop next month will be the House of Targaryen, a variation of the brand’s Agility Peak 5, complete with a custom “dragon trio” lace holder.
Next comes House Hightower (Moab Speed 2) on August 25 and House Velaryon (Moab 3) on September 17. Styles feature a family tree diagram on the insole plus a family crest silkscreen. Outsoles are emblazoned with details like weathering and dragon scale patterns.
“We’ve forged an alliance with the ‘House of the Dragon.’ Inspired by the show’s noble houses, Merrell is introducing special editions of the Agility Peak 5, Moab 3, and Moab Speed 2. Each shoe embodies the spirit of a different house, from the Targaryens and Valeryons to the Hightowers,” offers Merrell’s Brand Marketing Manager Devon Vanoostveen. “Fans of both Merrell and ‘House of the Dragon’ can now step into their own epic adventures, whether conquering rugged peaks or navigating treacherous terrain. The collaboration celebrates loyalty, resilience, and the timeless allure of mythical worlds.”
Consumers are now able to sign up for the first drop.
