Marc Nolan, a brand that designs shoes “at the intersection of dressy and casual” for men and, recently, women, has announced a new, unconventional collaboration. The Chicago-based brand is teaming up with fellow Windy City institution Three Dots and a Dash, the city’s premier tropical bar and craft cocktail destination.
Like a perfectly shaken martini, the two are fusing unexpected flavors for an exclusive shoe, co-designed by Marc Nolan’s Founder/CEO Sebastian Malczewski and Three Dot’s Beverage Director Kevin Beary. The style launches today at the brand’s West Loop flagship.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Kevin and the team at Three Dots; we are all huge fans of their work and the tropical energy they bring daily to the Windy City. It’s been so special getting to bring their noted cocktail program to life through the lens of our signature aesthetic” — Marc Nolan Founder/CEO Sebastian Malczewski
The duo’s first collaboration takes Marc Nolan’s beloved loafers out for a playful spin. The end result, available in sizing for men and women, is a shoe that feels equally ready for a beachside vacation or special night out. The Not Too Sweet Penny Loafer features a pebble calf leather and cotton mesh upper, laser-etched Three Dots skull logo on the heel, calfskin leather lining, latex memory foam padded insole, and rubber outsole.
Each shoe purchase also includes a limited-edition shoebox and the recipe for the two brands’ signature Not Too Sweet cocktail (crafted with London Dry Gin, Blanche Armagnac, Blue Curacao, Pineapple Juice, Almond Orgeat, and Lemon Juice). Retail price is $130.
