Ugg and Ming Lee Simmons Host Swanky Soirée at Extra Butter

Two It brands combine for an exclusive collection and campaign.

Cult footwear and apparel retailer Extra Butter joined Ugg and fashion It girl Ming Lee Simmons (daughter of Russel and Kimora Lee) to celebrate the debut of exclusive FW24 styles. Last week, Extra Butter Creative Director Bernie Gross and Ugg North American General Manager Tracy Paoletti hosted an intimate dinner at the retailer’s Long Island City storefront.

There, a small group of fashion insiders enjoyed a curated testing menu by Michelin star chef, Jeremiah Stone and specialty cocktails by Extra Butter’s speakeasy bar, The Infamous. Along with the new product, the FW24 Ugg campaign will feature Simmons at the forefront.

“The UGG Pumped and Anders models from UGG FW24 collection evoked a personality that aligns with our brand point-of-view,” offers Gross. “It provided a canvas to create a product storytelling moment we feel brings a new, refreshing and edgy perspective to the UGG brand. Working with the talented Ming Lee Simmons as the face of our campaign, brought that narrative to life.”

Edgy takes include Pumped Slides, patterned boots designed by Collina Strada, bright blue styles, and neutral chukkas for men.
