Today, footwear and leather goods brand ECCO introduces A-list actress and bonafide It Girl Chloë Sevigny as the star of its Spring/Summer 2025 campaign. As the face of the brand’s new “Icons the Last” campaign, Sevigny puts her signature spin on hero designs for the season.
One of said hero styles is the Biom C-Trail ballerina hybrid, designed in collaboration with Ecco creative partner Natacha Ramsay-Levi. A personal friend of Ramsay-Levi, Sevigny fell in love with the shoes and was spotted wearing them around New York City last summer. That sparked the brand’s initial relationship with the actress, who is a true fan rather than a traditional ambassador. “I live in New York, and finding a chic shoe that’s comfortable to walk in all day and is light, but solid and durable, is always a coveted item — ECCO makes just this,” adds Sevigny. “One of my earliest memories of ECCO is going into the store a few years ago and being impressed with the style, comfort, and quality.”
Shot by photographer Brianna Capozzi at a stark, brutalist villa in Los Angeles, Sevigny puts a personal spin on ECCO designs. The actress is known for her eclectic aesthetic, which she describes as “timeless alternative.” Her secret to lasting style? “Possessing a sense of self and a spirit of adventure.” In step with the brand’s “Icons that Last” message, Sevigny reveals she shops for longevity in mind by buying mostly vintage, and she admits to rocking a pair of jeans she has had since the 1990s.
As far has her fashion icons, the actress says she looks up to friends who have a distinct style that they have maintained for many years. “Consistency always holds allure for me,” she adds.
