Man jailed for New Jersey shoe store heist sticks up the same store 15 years later.
Christopher M. Miller, 40, was arrested Saturday after reenacting the same crime that landed him in the slammer 15 years years ago. A little more than 24 hours after he was freed from prison for his attempt to rob a Stride Rite store in Toms River in 1999, he returned to the scene of the crime to commit the act again, according to police. After grabbing $389 from the register, he bolted but was caught a few blocks away. He is now being held in the Ocean City County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
