The air was crisp, the doors wide open and fashion’s driving forces and novices flooded Manhattan streets in outfits saved for the occasion. If not for the lack of children and plastic bags containing goodies, Fashion’s Night Out may have been mistaken for Halloween.
We’re just days away from the big reveal of Fashion’s Night Out, and Opening Ceremony—whose boutique reach now spans New York, Los Angeles and Japan—is adding a dash of authentic American style through product collaborations with Keds and Pro-Keds. The stores will be representing each brand through an array of exclusive kicks inspired by their classic heritage: think red, white and blue; staple bandanna prints; and simple canvas sneakers with contrast-color laces. What better way to get Americans shopping again than baiting them with some homegrown Americana style?
