History and pop culture have been reflected on postage stamps for decades, giving them the ability to illustrate eras in fashion, and of course, footwear. Take, for example, these ’50s-era saddle shoes and contemporary heels by Finnish designer Julia Lundsten. Held every ten years, view these stamps and hundreds of thousands more on display at the World Stamp Show, held in New York City May 28 to June 4.
