London-based artist Marco Lemcke has dreamed up what a collaboration between Nike and some of the world’s top airline would look like, applying the logos of KLM, Virgin Atlantic, Ryanair and Easy Jet and more to a few of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes. As Lemcke put it to PSFK, “Isn’t it fascinating how corporate colors and logos get recalled even if you see them on totally different products? Looking at it now, corporate identities and major brand collaborations could be quite an interesting thing for brands like Nike.” While it’s merely a concept at the moment, high heels and turbulence are not a winning combination, so sneakers do make a lot of sense.
