Stan’s Fit For Your Feet, which has been locally-owned and serving customers in Greater Milwaukee since 1950, will remodel its New Balance Milwaukee store located on Bluemound Rd in Brookfield, WI. The store is getting a new fresh look that is more urban and a more inviting shopping experience. The store reopening is planned for Apr. 5, 2019.
Stan’s Fit For Your Feet and New Balance Milwaukee are locally-owned and operated by the Sajdak family. The third-generation family business specializes in bringing style and comfort to Milwaukee from around the world. Stan’s Fit For Your Feet’s three stores located in Brookfield, Glendale and Greendale are home to Wisconsin’s largest collection of regular and hard-to-find shoe sizes from all over the world.
Stan’s is well recognized for giving back to those less fortunate in the community with its annual Share A Pair Shoe Drive that collects new and gently used shoes and distributes them to Father Gene’s Help Center, Repairers of the Breach, Milwaukee Rescue Mission, The Hope House of Milwaukee and Sojourner Peace Center. In 2013, the National Shoe Retailers Association named Stan’s Fit For Your Feet and New Balance Milwaukee the National Footwear Retailer of the Year. The company was also named one of Southeastern Wisconsin’s Top Ten Businesses of the Year in 2014 and Best Shoe Store by Shepherd Express in 2014. Since 2008, Stan’s and New Balance Milwaukee have been named Milwaukee’s Best Shoe Store on Milwaukee CityVoter and its Brookfield store was named 2017 Business of the Year by the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce.
