Slip Up
Spring’s slip-ons are anything but boring. Bold prints and unexpected materials give new and classic silhouettes a fresh feel. Emporio Armani (above right) begets classic vulcanized styles a modern edge with graphic black and white patterns taken straight from the collection’s threads. Dries Van Noten offers a men’s version of a ballet slipper in a rich Bordeaux hue while Band of Outsiders (above left) gives loafers a playful flare with a translucent plastic upper. Pair with sweats or a suit–this ’90s era staple is as versatile as it is novel. Despite the on-the-go effortlessness of a slip-on, spring’s selection is sure to make a meaningful statement.
