Snipes, a European-based lifestyle chain of 230 stores, is getting an American accent with the acquisition of Kicks USA, a 62-store chain along the East Coast. To mark the acquisition, Snipes has enlisted DJ Khaled to headline an appearance at one of the newly converted stores in Harlem, New York on May 22.

Music mogul and social media star DJ Khaled will help introduce the customer service-oriented concept at two events in New York. The first signing session event on May 22 will be at 3 p.m. at the Snipes USA East Harlem location at 1852 3rd Avenue. It’s where the DJ Khaled Snipes collection—a line of summer apparel introduced across Europe earlier this year—will be showcased. Snipes branded apparel will roll out in select US locations this month.
Snipes, founded in 1998, specializes in offering the latest styles of sneakers and streetwear for women and men of all ages. Available in children, juniors and adult collections, the chain carries leading brands, such as Nike, Jordan, Adidas, Vans, The North Face, Karl Kani, Puma and more.
