Ever dreamed of becoming a sneaker designer? Luckily, Foot Locker announced today that it would continue to foster the education of aspiring footwear designers partnered with PENSOLE Footwear Design Academy. The retailer plans to help cultivate design talent with two new “Fueling the Future of Footwear” Master Classes and the World Sneaker Championship 2016. Each program offers winning participants an opportunity to have their designs sold at Foot Locker stores.
The first Master Class partners with Under Armour, running today through Jan. 29, and the second with ASICS America will kick off later this spring. On Feb. 5, the World Sneaker Championship invites designers from across the globe to submit their creations. Voters will elect 64 finalists to be judged by an expert panel who will choose one design to be sold at select Fool Lockers globally.
