Now more than ever, educators deserve thanks. That’s why Skechers is stepping up to support schools and teachers during the 2022 back-to-school season. From July 14-Aug. 14, the Manhattan Beach, CA-based company will raise funds through a national register round-up at Skechers stores nationwide in support of AdoptAClassroom.org, a tech-based nonprofit that provides classroom funding to PreK-12 teachers and schools throughout the U.S. To further express gratitude, during the roundup period Skechers is offering 10 percent off purchases to educators who show their teaching ID or proof of employment.
“Our children already depend on our teachers for so much—not just academically, but financially for many items they need to improve the quality of their classes and succeed in school,” states Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers. “As supplies and materials have become substantially more expensive, it’s more critical than ever for us to all be there for our educators so that they don’t need to shoulder these additional costs alone.”
“We’re grateful for our partnership with Skechers and their continued commitment to giving all students an equal opportunity at a quality education,” says Ann Pifer, executive director of AdoptAClassroom.org. “Thanks to Skechers’ generous donation, we are able to equip more teachers and classrooms with the tools needed for children to thrive in school.”
