Roma combines fashion, function and philanthropy to help impoverished children around the world

Looking great while doing good? We call that a win-win. When Romanian-born Samuel Bistrian received his first pair of hand-me-down rain boots at the age of 6, he vowed to one day return the favor and in 2009 he founded Roma Boots.

Looking great while doing good? We call that a win-win. When Romanian-born Samuel Bistrian received his first pair of hand-me-down rain boots at the age of 6, he vowed to one day return the favor and in 2009 he founded Roma Boots. For every pair of rain boots sold, Roma donates another to an impoverished child living in a cold and wet climate. Available in a multitude of vibrant glossy hues, the boots are made from 100 percent natural rubber and crafted with a quick-dry cotton lining and multi-layered cushioned insoles, ensuring they are both comfortable and built to last. But this isn’t just a gesture of goodwill–it’s a stepping stone towards a better life. Roma also donates 10 percent of sales to the Roma Boots Foundation, a non-profit that helps provide books, school supplies and education to the children who receive the boots.
