Blundstone connects with fans through a wanderlust-inducing Instagram contest.
Social media (Instagram in particular) has proven to be a invaluable tool for brands and retailers to connect with their consumers. This Fall, quintessential Chelsea boot maker Blundstone is attempting to do just that. Now through Nov. 18, Blundstone is conducting a national Instagram campaign to explore the Aussie brand’s signature passions—film, craft, food, music and the outdoors—through they eyes of fans.
“The #HowIRoam campaign’s appeal is grounded in authenticity, individualism and spirit of adventure—all values that our brand and Blundstone followers ascribe to,” offers International Sales Executive Rachel Lash. The initiative both partners with five brand ambassadors and asks fans to post photos of videos tagging @blundstoneusa and using #HowIRoam. Consumers can win weekly prizes (including Blundstone boots, accessories from family-owned lifestyle brand Will Leather Goods, hand crafted goods from Iron & Resin and unique outdoor gear from Poler Stuff) as well as a grand-prize trip to for two to Australia.
