Some sad truths: Cancer affects nearly every American in some way. Too many have lost friends or relatives, or have struggled through treatment themselves along with the difficulties of maintaining a home, bills and everyday needs. Two Ten Footwear Foundation announces this week its latest fund, the Cancer Care Fund.
To launch this effort, the shoepeople at Aldo Group have generously pledged to race across the country, literally, with a team of four cyclists participating in the incredible 3,000-mile Race Across America on behalf of the Two Ten Cancer Care Fund. Also supporting this launch is FFANY by donating proceeds from its industry party during the shoe show last week. The Cancer Care Fund will go specifically to help defray the regular bills and increased costs that these families face. Any shoepeople willing to help can also donate through the fund.
