President Barack Obama announced the appointment of Matthew Rubel, former president and CEO of Collective Brands, to an additional term on the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations, a key Administration advisory post.

President Barack Obama announced the appointment of Matthew Rubel, former president and CEO of Collective Brands, to an additional term on the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations, a key Administration advisory post. Rubel, who has served as chairman, president and CEO of several top retail brands and is an advisor to leading investors in the consumer sector, was initially appointed to the Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations (ACTPN) in 2010.

“It is an honor to be asked to once again serve my country as a member of the ACTPN,” states Rubel. “I look forward to working with my fellow members and the Administration to provide advice on the trade policies that are vital to the economic well-being of our nation.”
