K-Swiss Goes Fishing

K-Swiss has teamed with Heal the Bay, a non-profit organization dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds of Los Angeles safe, to create a new style inspired by California’s state fish, the Orange Garibaldi. All proceeds from the sales of the shoes will go to support Heal the Bay.

K-Swiss and Heal the Bay’s Orange Garibaldi sneaker pays homage to California’s state fish and is available in adults and kids’ sizes. The shoes feature bright orange fish scale textured material to imitate the look of the species and eco-friendly materials, including cellulose-based water soluble and biodegrade and bloom foam algae based sustainable midsole foam, that help to reduce the impact on the environment. The kids’ version includes bright blue spots, which mimic the look of the younger Garibaldi fish.

Dropping, should we say splashing, May 27, the shoes will be available on KSwiss.com for $80 (adults) and $50 for kids.
