Britain will be decked out in patriotic splendor for the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on May 19 in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor, and Hotter wants royal wedding fans to dress the part. The U.K.’s largest shoemaker has unveiled a new collection featuring bright and festive stars and stripes (in honor of Yankee bride Markle) and Prince Harry’s Union Jack in the brand’s signature comfort styles.
“We’re so excited to showcase these new designs, just in time for the upcoming wedding,” states Sara Prowse, CEO. “As the UK’s largest shoe manufacturer, we’re happy to give our customers the most comfortable footwear experience possible, and we’ve let our patriotic side have a bit of fun. We are obsessed with giving our customers the best in footwear comfort and fashion: everyone should have the chance to feel like royalty.”
The three Union Jack and stars-and-stripes on-the-go styles are complemented by a pair of red heels named Meghan which have an attractive “Markle-sparkle” decorative finish. Each style comes with all the hidden comfort features the brand is known for—like breathable leathers and fabrics and state-of-the-art molding technology combined with soft polyurethane material that make the shoes easy-fitting, lightweight and shock-absorbing. The styles are available on the brand’s website for a limited time.
