The Sak Brand Group pushes the potential of its Sakroots lifestyle arm.
The Sak Brand Group has some big changes on the docket for 2016. First, starting with Fall ’16, The Sak footwear line is moving under the umbrella of Sakroots, an artful brand that gives back a portion of proceeds to the shopper’s charity of choice. The Karma-inducing lifestyle brand is available online and brick-and-mortar in seven countries, primarily warm-weather climates perfect for showcasing its espadrilles, sandals, slip-ons and booties.
Sakroots is also aiming to reposition itself in the lifestyle circuit as an omni-channel brand, shifting focus to such channels as surf, outdoors, travel, collegiate, festival and gifting. The brand will be showing its new lifestyle product (paddle boards, belt-bags, journals, tents, chairs, hammocks and towels) along with Sakroots footwear at 2016 trade shows: Surf Expo, FFANY, FN Platform, NY Gift Show, Camex College Show, International Travel Goods Show, LA Transit, Dallas Strut, B&N Tradeshow.
