Female-led luxury brand Perla Formentini launches its first SS16 collection in the U.S.

LScreen Shot 2016-04-25 at 4.16.17 PMast week, Italian luxury brand Perla Formentini officially launched its debut collection in the U.S. Luxe loafers, ballet flats, sandals, pumps and stilettos are available online in an array of leathers and suedes with geometric cutouts, hardware detailing and a range of heel shapes, retailing from $198 to $395. For the SS16 collection, the female-led design team was inspired by the warmth of sunny days, the deep colors of the Mediterranean and bold architectural shapes and metallic palettes of the city. Screen Shot 2016-04-25 at 4.15.54 PM

“We are so proud to be a company for women by women,” adds founder Perla Formentini. “We lead such busy lives today, balancing family, work and leisure. We really want to design shoes that can fit our lifestyles, and are especially excited about the launch of our brand in the U.S.”
