Furla on Fifth

Italian accessories brand Furla has just celebrated the grand opening of its U.S. flagship boutique in New York City, located on the corner of 51st Street and 5th Avenue. “We saw this opportunity on 5th Avenue as the key to breaking into the U.S. market in a way we have never done before,” notes CEO Eraldo Poletto. A neutral space highlighted by warm lighting is the backdrop for the brand’s collection of women’s shoes, bags, small leather goods and accessories plus men’s bags and leather goods. Block heels, zippered leather pointy-toe slip-ons, classic loafers, pointy-toe sling-backs and sporty slide sandals highlight the Fall/Winter ’15 footwear collection.
