No longer reserved for Coachella goers and 1920s enthusiasts, fringe has found its way into the hearts and onto the hemlines and heels of the fashion set. While ICB and MM6 Maison Martin Margiela embellished dresses and clutches with the free-flowing tassels for Spring/Summer 2015, designers at Proenza Schouler and Christian Louboutin for Peter Som (above) brought the trend down a notch–literally–to adorn the likes of mules and sandals. Wherever way you cut it, next season’s most sought-after embellishment is sure to give your shelves some kinetic appeal.
