PETA teams up with Italian brand Mink on a line of vegan ballet flats.
Animal lovers take note! Italian vegan shoemaker Mink has launched a limited-edition PETA x MINK collection of ostrich-print ballet flats that pack all the style of skin without using any animal product.
Available in wine and black, the shoes feature a gold PETA bunny charm and PETA x Mink insole. The luxe ballet flats are made of a durable, nonsolvent microfiber fabric. In honor of the partnership, a percentage of sales from the collection will be donated to PETA. Retailing for $175, the style (shipping in February) is now available for pre-order.
“While ostrich-skin shoes harm animals, Mink’s cruelty-free ostrich-print shoes will help PETA save animals,” offers PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “With their stylish design and luxe vegan Italian leather, the PETA x Mink shoes are the perfect choice for shoppers of high-end fashion who are looking for a kind choice.”
