Fashionable Launches Footwear

Fashionable, an apparel and accessories company aimed at creating sustainable business opportunities for women, launches footwear this week. Founder Barrett Ward hopes to help women worldwide who have overcome extreme adversity—ranging from prostitution to addiction to a lack of opportunity due to poverty—by employing them fair and equal wages to create Fashionable’s products. Now, those products include footwear! The brand’s shoes including slides, mules, loafers and flatforms are all handcrafted in Peru of leather and other fine materials and retail from $78 to $210 on Fashionable’s website.
