Ticket to Dream Foundation, a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting foster youth, reports Famous Footwear customers have donated more than $10 million during checkout since 2020. The contributions have made it possible for Ticket to Dream to help more than 468,000 children and teens experiencing foster care.
“We are grateful for our employees and customers whose contributions continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many kids,” states Mike Edwards, president of Famous Footwear, a division of Caleres. “It’s a source of pride for all our team members to know that together with our customers we can ensure foster youth have the resources they need. We look forward to continuing our support.”
The donations have helped to ensure foster youth have access to new shoes, warm coats, clothes, extracurricular activities, and laptops for school. During a time when donations can be hard to come by—and kids entering care need more assistance than ever—Famous Footwear has allowed Ticket to Dream Foundation to reach more kids than ever before.
