Crocs to Open Store in Big Apple’s First Outlet Center

Crocs will open its first Staten Island location at Empire Outlets, New York’s first outlet center. The store will be located alongside 100 other retailers and steps from the Staten Island Ferry. The center is slated to open this fall.

“At Crocs, we’re all about delivering comfort and style with a value that consumers know and love,” states Claire Conley, vice president of retail for North America.“We hope to provide Empire Outlets guests–both New Yorkers and tourists alike–with a retail experience that leaves everyone just a little more comfortable in their own shoes.” Crocs’ nearly 2,000-square-foot location will feature a full selection of styles, including its iconic Classic and Bayaband clogs.

Other retailers at the center include H&M, Banana Republic, Nordstrom Rack, Gap Factory and Columbia Sporting Goods. A 40,000-square-foot food and beverage deck with views of Manhattan and and a boutique hotel are also part of the mix. Restaurants at the center include Shake Shack, Artichoke Basille’s Pizza and MRKTPL, Staten Island’s first artisanal food hall.
