Nine luxury brands re-imagine Cinderella’s glass slipper for Saks Fifth Avenue.
What do Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, René Caovilla, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Charlotte Olympia, Jerome C. Rousseau and Stuart Weitzman all have in common? They’re all producing their own versions of Cinderella’s glass slipper for the launch of Disney’s live action Cinderella, which premiers March 13th.
Swarovski worked with costumer designer Sandy Powell on the film’s version of the shoe and provided the crystals for the re-imagined versions, as well. Each brand will put their own unique spin on the shoe and the entire collection will be featured, along with props from the film, in fairytale vignettes in the Saks Fifth Avenue windows.
