Made-in-America boot company boasts notable new hires.
Helm Boots, the Austin-based footwear company founded in 2009 by Joshua Bingaman, has big plans for 2016, adding key players to help facilitate the growing demand for the brand’s handcrafted products. The company named Bradley Day (pictured), a 15-year Adidas executive, as VP of operations. Day will oversee day-to-day management of the company operations and leadership of all brand functions. Leaving Adidas in January to join Helm, the industry veteran brings an extensive background and expertise in product management and merchandising, retail development, brand operations, sales and account management.
Additionally, Brad Jaco was named West Coast sales director effective February 2016. Jaco brings more than 15 years of notable wholesale and showroom experience. Most recently at Chippewa Boots, he managed 1901 and Archive Reserve divisions for the U.S. for three years.
“As Helm continues to grow as a brand, it’s very important that our organization continues to evolve along with it,” offers CEO Joshua Bingaman. “Bringing in new and experienced talent like this validates the momentum that we’re seeing of the brand.”
