New Balance’s iconic 574 silhouette will receive a limited-edition Ides of March makeover with Swarovski crystals (retail price: $300) in men’s and women’s styles, available exclusively on the NB1 customization platform on NewBalance.com in North America, Europe and Japan.
The limited NB1 574 embellished with crystals from Swarovski will be offered in full suede with a perforated vamp, collar and tongue. Pearlized leather accents are on the heel tab, collar accent and tongue label, with embossing on the heel and tongue label. There are two options of the “N” logo with Swarovski crystals in either gunmetal or platinum with matching ribbon laces. Additional details include a silver lace keeper, shoe bag and bespoke box. The launch coincides with New Balance Grey Day, a celebration of the 574 silhouette and the brand’s oft-used signature hue.
