Fashion Fridays: Toe Ring Trend

Slow news week in the tabloid world? Perhaps, but the reemergence of Jennifer Aniston’s toe ring is causing a stir with fashion critics and bloggers. The actress, known for her relaxed and simple style, was spotted sporting a barely-there gold band on her left foot at the worldwide premieres for her latest film, "Horrible Bosses".

The toe ring first caught fashionistas’ sharp eye back in early 2010 and kicked off an online debate on whether the accessory was appropriate for the red carpet, or a cool signature of Aniston’s laid-back beachside lifestyle. In fact  Hollywoodlife.com (one of the style’s harshest critics) tracked the ring’s travels with a map and then its disappearance as Aniston started to wear boots for the fall.
