World Industies announced that it will create a limited-edition “I Love Boobies” skate footwear collection in support of the Keep A Breast Foundation, a non-profit breast cancer organization dedicated to educating youth about prevention, early detection and cancer-causing toxins in the environment.
“We are excited to collaborate with The Keep A Breast Foundation, an organization that supports a cause that is very close to me and my family,” says Scott Chantos, president of World Industries. “My mother and aunt are both breast cancer survivors so I know how important early detection is.” Chantos adds, “We wanted to create a product to promote awareness for the cause and contribute a portion of the proceeds to help fund programs that encourage a healthy lifestyle.”
The collection will consist of men’s and women’s styles—the Sully and Sully Hi-Top. Suggested retail is $50 and World Industries will donate $1 to the charity for every pair sold. The shoes are slated to land on shelves this September.
“World Industries is the perfect partner for the Keep A Breast Foundation to continue to spead potentially life-saving information,” says Kimmy McAtee, a charity spokesperson. “With their irreverant style and dedicated audience it made sense to collaborate on a shoe that will create conversation about breast health to a larger audience.”
