The goal of the program is to achieve a deep understanding of the specific product needs of those serving in these demanding positions, from wildlife researchers to outdoor advocates. Wolverine has selected Garth Levin, a wildland and structural firefighter, as the Guardian Project’s 2013 Ambassador. “Partnering with Guardians allows us to gain valuable feedback on product performance and indepth knowledge of essential product features for these perilous environments and activities,” Wolverine Marketing Director Kelly Redinger says. “We incorporate this insight into our design and development process so we can continue making outdoor footwear that meets the demands of their challenging work.”
