Vanessa Lachey designs a bootie for Shoedazzle

Actress, host and expectant mom Vanessa Lachey is the newest member of ShoeDazzle’s “Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity.” Lachey’s military-inspired faux snakeskin high heeled bootie (named “Monroe” after the infamous actress) will be available for purchase exclusively at www.shoedazzle.com on August 7, and all profits from sales will benefit Operation Shower. Since its inception in 2007, this non-profit has showered more than 800 military moms whose husbands are deployed. “Growing up, my father was in the Air Force, so I have an understanding of what it’s like to have a loved one overseas during life’s biggest events,” Lachey says.
