Earth Day is just around the corner (April 22) and to celebrate, Pedestrian Shops in Boulder, CO, has filled its windows with a colorful display of flowers and vegetables designed with help from – and to raise awareness for – local non-profit Growing Gardens. The store will also host a shoe drive in collaboration with Patagonia Footwear. From April 19 to May 3, Pedestrian Shops will donate $10 to Growing Gardens for every Patagonia purchase made by a shoe donor, while Patagonia and Clear Creek Reps, the local Patagonia Footwear sales reps, will each donate $10 to Growing Gardens for every pair of Patagonia shoes purchased. Don’t fancy a pair of Patagonias? No problem. If shoe donors buy other merchandise, Pedestrian will donate 10 percent of the purchase price.
