These days, celebrities are putting their names on everything possible–even magazines. And no, we’re not talking about the long-rumored Kardashian family mag. Instead, undefeated and award-winning boxer Floyd Mayweather is coming out with his own MyMag luxury print publication called “Mayweather,” and he’s giving amateur shoe designers everywhere a reason to get excited.
To celebrate the launch of his “Mayweather” MyMag (celebs like P. Diddy, Deepak Chopra and director Brent Ratner have also released their own MyMags over the years), the boxer is inviting readers and designers to create their very own shoe pattern or color scheme. Not only will the winner have his or her shoe sported by Mayweather, but the lucky person will receive a signed pair of winning shoes and a cash prize of $3,000.
Hopeful designers can submit their creations until May 21, and the winner–along with a runner up and a “People’s Choice” winner–will be named on June 6.
