The Texas-based brand looks beyond its country roots to big-city lights
As Lucchese marks its 129th year making quality leather boots, they’re introducing some new styles for their Fall ’12 Spirit by Lucchese collection. This more contemporary women’s line puts a modern and equestrian twist on the Western boots the brand is known for. Popular new styles at trade shows this year include the Virginia boot with its country-meets-city feel featuring embossed, tooled leather, and the Kaylee boot, which sports a roller buckle at the ankle. Newcomer boot, Avery, also has an urban feel with its grommet embellishments and complementing accessories. “We want to package the whole story together,” says Director of Contemporary Sales at Lucchese Angela DaCosta Paterson of the added accessory line. The collection also features updated styles of flats from last fall and a new mule design, the Kylie, which flaunts a stacked leather heel.
