Is Your Shoe Obsession ‘Insatiable?’ Here’s the Cure

You may have seen Jenny McCarthy on a slew of '90s sitcoms or, more recently, on the arm of Jim Carrey or hosting the 2012 "New Year's Rockin' Eve," but now she's popping up somewhere you may not have seen her too often: the footwear industry.

You may have seen Jenny McCarthy on a slew of ’90s sitcoms or, more recently, on the arm of Jim Carrey or hosting the 2012 “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” but now she’s popping up somewhere you may not have seen her too often: the footwear industry.

McCarthy is partnering with ShoeDazzle for the second “Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity,” which includes today’s release of her second shoe design for the online shoe styling service. And to honor Autism Awareness month, sales of the “Insatiable”– McCarthy’s black platform peep-toe pump with studded-heel detailing and a bright blue insole–will benefit Generation Rescue, a charitable organization dedicated to children suffering and recovering from autism spectrum disorders.

“I loved working with ShoeDazzle last year to create the ‘Fearless’ pump. It was a creative way to raise funds for Generation Rescue and bring attention to autism, a cause close to my heart,” says McCarthy, referring to the disease that her son was diagnosed with in 2005. “I hope ShoeDazzle clients love my second shoe, ‘Insatiable,’ as much as I do!”

In addition to donation 100 percent of the shoe’s proceeds to charity, ShoeDazzle is also including an additional donation opportunity, where it will make an additional $5 donation for each new client that joins the site using the special code “JENNY” from today until May 9.
