Next month in conjunction with the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting in Omaha, NE, the company’s CEO and Chairman Warren Buffett, in partnership with Brooks Running Company, will introduce the first “Invest in Yourself” 5K fun run and walk. The race, taking place on Sunday, May 5, is meant to encourage participants to adopt a healthy lifestyle and Brooks’ “Run Happy” spirit to stay active and improve their overall well-being.
To commemorate the race and the shareholders meeting, Brooks developed the limited-edition Berkshire Hathaway PureCadence 2 running shoe. On the insole of the shoe, Buffett is pictured breaking through the tape at the end of the race. The shoes will be available at the Brooks booth at the shareholders expo.
