Shoe brands, retailers, writers and enthusiasts were all abuzz last week as Fashion Footwear Association of New York’s show brought designers from all over to the island of Manhattan. Connections were made, trends were seen and celebrations were held.
One such gathering on Thursday, June 8, celebrated H.H. Brown’s newly expanded showroom at 1441 Broadway. Attendees included CEO Jim Issler, designer Carmen Marc Valvo, and Nicholas and Christopher Kunz, the designers behind Nicholas K.
Sherri Shepherd of the daytime talk show, The View, also made an appearance at the event wearing a Carmen Marc Valvo dress and Isola Damani platforms in Gunmetal. The same shoes are now available at www.isolashoes.com.
